Seedlings Early Learning Centre is a warm and nurturing child care center dedicated to providing a safe, healthy, and engaging environment for children. We are seeking a caring and dependable Cook to prepare nutritious meals for our children each day.
Languages required: English
Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare healthy meals and snacks in accordance with child nutrition guidelines
- Accommodate food allergies and special dietary requirements
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and licensing regulations
- Order and manage food inventory and supplies
- Maintain accurate food records as required by licensing authorities
Qualifications:
- Previous cooking experience (experience in child care or school settings preferred)
- Knowledge of child nutrition guidelines and food safety standards
- Ability to pass a background check
- Food Handler’s Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Organized, reliable, and able to work independently
