Registered Early Childhood Educator
The One Tot Stop Day Care, with locations in Espanola and Massey, ensures a nurturing environment dedicated to meeting the unique needs of every child. Through play-based learning, we foster children’s development across all key domains including physical, cognitive, social-emotional, language, and early literacy skills – cultivating a lifelong love of learning.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our team. The RECE will provide nurturing care for children aged 0–12 in a group setting, following the organization’s policies and program statement. This role requires professionalism, creativity, and a strong understanding of child development. The RECE will adhere to all professional responsibilities outlined by the College of Early Childhood Educators.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for indoor and outdoor programs based on children's emerging interests.
- Communicate with families/guardians about their child's development and learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a high-quality early learning environment where all children feel valued and respected.
- Complete developmental assessments on children such as the ASQ-3 and ASQ:SE 2 and use the information to support children's development.
- Maintain confidentiality of all children, families and employees.
Qualifications:
- Must have a post-secondary diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or equivalent.
- Must be registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators.
- Must have a valid First Aid and CPR certificate, including Infant/Child CPR Level C.
- Must have a clean Vulnerable Sector Check, no longer than 6 months old.
