- Actively participate in daily routines and activities, and help enrich children's play and conversations.
- Address children's physical needs (diaper changes, hygiene, meals, naps) with respect and kindness.
- Contribute to keeping the environment safe, clean, and welcoming, including light maintenance and snack preparation as needed.
- Use positive intervention strategies (redirection, positive language, reinforcement) in accordance with centre policies.
- Report accidents, injuries, illnesses, and concerns to the RECE or supervisor, and document as needed.
- Communicate warmly and professionally with families and colleagues.
- Comply with centre policies and procedures, as well as the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014 (CCEYA).

- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check, dated within the last 6 months.
- Standard First Aid and Level C CPR (infant and child) certification, or willingness to obtain it.
