Child Care Supervisor , Level 1, Warren site

We are seeking an experienced Registered Early Childhood Educator to lead our centre as Child Care Supervisor. The Supervisor oversees daily operations, supports and mentors the educator team, and makes sure every child and family experiences safe, high-quality, play-based early learning.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the centre's day-to-day operations and ensure compliance with the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014 and licensing requirements.
- Lead the implementation of How Does Learning Happen? and the organization's program statement.
- Support, mentor and supervise educators, assistant educators and placement students, including scheduling and ratios.
- Take part in hiring, onboarding, training and performance reviews.
- Manage registrations, waitlists and enrolment, and provide excellent service to families.
- Ensure the health and safety of children, staff and the site, including incident and serious occurrence reporting.
- Build strong relationships with families, community partners and the Ministry of Education.
- Maintain accurate records and manage site budgets and supplies as required.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or equivalent.
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators.
- At least two years of experience in licensed child care, and eligible for Ministry director approval as a supervisor.
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014 and licensing regulations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Standard First Aid and CPR Level C (Infant and Child).
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check, issued within the last 6 months.
