To build a team that is engaged in the community and inspiring, we are looking for someone who stands out: a qualified, creative, and dynamic person, someone passionate about early childhood, the transmission of the French language, and teamwork. We invite motivated individuals to submit their application for the educator position to be part of the pioneering team of this brand-new centre.
Who are we?
Carrefour francophone de Sudbury is a dedicated, dynamic, and creative team of over 150 people working in the cultural and educational sector of Greater Sudbury and Sudbury-East, Ontario since 1950.
Carrefour francophone is the oldest cultural centre in francophone Ontario. It has been running eleven early learning centres since 2005 and now 12 with the arrival of this new centre, five Tremplins (before and after school programs), a series of cultural summer camps, and shows presented under the Slague banner.
Carrefour francophone is committed to promoting the French language and culture through innovative educational programs that support families on a daily basis. Our family engagement policy supports parents in using and valuing French at home. This support takes shape, among other things, through the Librairie des tout-petits, valuable book suggestions to enrich vocabulary. We also focus on a nature education program that encourages outdoor outings and strengthens children’s connection with their natural environment, as well as the Musical Awakening program that enriches language, cultural, and musical development from an early age.
